As a Content Strategist, my role involves performing industry research, developing comprehensive content plans, and analyzing performance. I also built a Content Strategy bootcamp from the ground up and have mentored and trained 10+ team members.

Expert Copy Review

As the Expert Copy Project Manager, I manage a team of 20+ freelancers who fact-check content for industry accuracy. I also develop resources to promote the service internally and externally, such as case studies and process improvements, to increase revenue growth.

SEO AI Content Opportunity Report & Outline

We created this service to help meet the needs of clients who had internal writing teams, but didn’t have strong SEO knowledge or access to keyword research tools. We use Artificial Intelligence to analyze top search results for the desired keyword and identify keywords that should added or removed from the page to improve performance. From there, the team creates an outline that carefully integrates these keywords, and delivers it to the client for them to use.

Featured Snippet Optimization

This service optimizes existing content with the goal of helping clients capture Featured Snippets. Gaining a Featured Snippet helps increase traffic, click-through rate, and brand recognition.

Link Audit

When websites buy low quality backlinks or are subject to a negative SEO attack, they can end up being penalized by Google. In order to resolve the subsequent drop in rankings and traffic, I perform a backlink audit to review the backlinks that could be causing the manual or algorithmic penalty. After I review the site’s backlinks and deem the performance issues backlink-related, I create a disavow file which contains the low quality websites, and monitor the client’s site for performance improvements.

Wikipedia Projects

Wikipedia is a strong domain and thus having a page has branding benefits for the subject of the page since it will usually rank on the first page of search results. I have facilitated the creation of client Wikipedia pages and edits to existing pages. I am responsible for advising clients on their likelihood of obtaining a page, editing the copy, sourcing the talent, making sure the project gets completed, and reporting the success of the project to the account manager and client.
